Hello Aspirant, hope you are doing good.

Now, coming to your question, whether or not you should drop a year, majorly depends on you only. If you are determined to crack JEE Mains, and then crack JEE Advance, to get into IITs or NITs, then you should definitely take a drop, because these colleges are totally worth the wait and all the hardworking, Having said that, it's no easy job as well, to get into IITs, it requires immense hardwork and dedication as well as good knowledge about the subjects, so if you are up for that, and you are confident that you can do all that in a year, then you can definitely drop a year, but if not, if you aren't very confident, i would say then you should instead get into any college that you are getting, without taking any risks.

Hope this helps you. Good Luck!

Hi

Taking a drop is a personal choice, if you are ready to work hard and study well and have belief on yourself that you can do it then only you should drop otherwise you may end up wasting an year.

But taking a drop has become common these days ,every year a number of students take a drop and not only prepare for JEE but qualify it with a good rank and get into good Engineering College as well you can do the same if you remain dedicated and honest towards your preparation in your drop year.

So, if you are passionate about doing hard work and you are ready to study  and devote all your time and energy for your preparation then you should definitely take a chance and take a drop.

In the drop year, to avoid wastage of time you should follow a proper routine ,solve in plenty of  of MCQs and numerical after completing each chapter, solve previous year question papers and mock test papers

So, take your time and decide.

If you take a drop you can prepare well using our Jee mains knock out the link for the same is given below

Hi,

Yes there's no doubt that the JEE MAIN as well as JEE Advanced are one of the toughest exams to crack after 12th. Only few of the students are able to clear in the first attempt. So its not a bad thing that you take a drop. It will help you secure a good chance to crack the exam with more efforts and determination. If you are willing to get a prestigious institute, then you need to take your studies sincerely. All the best!!
