Techno India University is a good college. The only problem is that the college is taking too much fees and what we are getting by spending that much of money is not satisfactory. The teachers are also not that experienced. Though some teachers are best but overall it's average. The college has technical as well as cultural fest so it is not bound to one direction and instead giving every student to enjoy their college life with interest. Though University is improving in all respects like teaching skills, providing better facilities, etc. But for now I should advise not to take admission as the university has just started his name in this engineering Competition world. Everyone didn't get placement after graduation.

The parameters can be placement, education, infrastructure, affiliation and alumni. Let's go through each of them, one by one.

Placement : Excellent for CSE, ECE, MCA and EE. Dream companies like Microsoft, Intel, Hitachi, Amazon, Cerner, Deloitte, Bosch, Cognizant, TCS, Capgemini, etc hire every year. For rest of the batches it is just okay. However, unlike UEM, IEM, AOT etc, you scope is not just limited to mass recruiters (Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, Infosys). You get a chance (and a number seniors were recruited) in Robert Bosch, SAP, Microsoft, Intel, Deloitte which offer a package of Rs 5 Lakh and More. Amazon, Thoughtworks, Directi, Microsoft, Intel offer packages which are above 10 lakh per annum.

Education : The syllabus is more advanced as this is autonomous university directly under UGC and not under WBUT.

Infrastructure : Centralised AC, 1:1 computer - you don’t need to share your PC, 4 high speed lifts, cold water supply, cafetria etc.

Affiliations : It is not under WBUT. It is directly under UGC and AICTE. You can check the websites of UGC and AICTE for more info.

Alumni : This can be segmented into two different parts, First for the ones who are in multi national companies and second for the ones who are pursuing higher education. For the first part, TIU alumnus are working in the dream companies mentioned above. Some have built their own successful startups. For the second part, few students are studying in University of Texas, IIT Dhanbad, IIT Kharagpur, IIM, NIT etc.
