Yes ,there is. But your family income should be under 2Lpa to apply for that. UP government provides scholarship to students whose family income is below 2Lpa every year.

There is one more possible way to avail discount on your studies. During filling of application form for UPSEE in the category section you can go for FEE WAIVER option. You wont be required to give tuition fee for all four years. DISCLAIMER for this is that

1. Your family income should be below 4Lpa
2. Cutoff for fee waiver is higher than general category.
3. You cant enjoy your category reservation previleges if you opt for fee waiver.
4. If you want to change your branch after first year, you wont be able to do it.
