is the admission on merit basis or do we have to give and entrance exam for UG BSC courses

Hi,
    Look it depends on college to college or university to university. But for general courses most of the colleges takes admission on basis of your 12th marks. Some private colleges also takes admission through their own entrance exam.

I am looking for punjabi university, Patiala .. is there any entrance test or merit based admissions?

Eligibility criteria :

Completed 10+2 in any discipline with at least 40% marks.

Admission :

Bsc admission will be based on PU-CET.

If one wants to take admission in St Xavier college mumbai in Bsc then are tje 12th marks taken inta account.....plz replu soon

PU CET is for pu, chandigarh .. i am asking for punjabi university,Patiala..
