Aspirant. The Vel Tech High Tech Dr. RangarajanDr.Sakunthala Engineering College was established in 2002 and is affiliated to Anna University. The branches in their college are Civil ,Chemical, Biotechnology , EEE, ECE, CSE, IT, Mechanical. They also have M.E, MBA and MCA programmes. The laboratory facilities are not bad.

Coming to placements 70-80% students get placed on campus.Nearly 50 companies visited the campus in recent year . Some of the companies the visited  are INFYTQ , Capgemini, TCS , WIPRO and many more. The highest salary offered is 27 LPA, and the average salary offered is 6 LPA, and the lowest salary offered is 2.5 LPA.
