NCERTs are the best books to clear your fundamentals. However, as the competition level is very high, you must refer to other important books also for preparation and to achieve a good rank in the exam.

If you have completed your syllabus, you should now focus on the revision part. Revising all the concepts is very important. NEET exam is scheduled to be conducted on 5th May, 2019 and you must focus on the topics which carry more weightage in the exam.

Solve previous year question papers and attempt mock tests, it will help you to analyse your preparation level and you will get to know about your weakness and strengths. Also, giving mock tests help in enhancing the speed.

From my experience I feel nearly 80 out of 90 questions are directly or indirectly from ncert .Read ncert as many times as you can. Get the essence of each and every line .Donot miss out the scientists given before each chapter(learn what they found about) and all the diagrams .

For the rest 10 questions u can go about doing previous years papers of various competitive exams..not just neet but exams like aiims,jipmer and other state pmts.(because some questions are repeated from these exams )

If u do this, i feel u will be able to score above 300 in biology just with ncert.

And If u want to something like 340, 350 or 360 then u definitely need to go beyond ncert.

NCERT is the best book for the preparation of neet exam in any subjects. But only that book is not enough. You have to refer the other books also to get good marks.
