Yeah! When you go for renewal of your EWS certificate then actually you will be issued an new EWS certificate valid for next fiscal year. As a result your EWS certificate will be changed. You have to go through the same procedure as you have done before in order to get the EWS certificate in the first place.

The eligibility for the EWS certificate are:

• The annual income of the family of candidate should not exceed 8lakh per annum.
• The family should not hold 5 or more than 5 acres of land.
• The family shouldn't have a residental area more than 1000 sq feet.
