Yes certain types of questions in the UCEED Part A have negative marks. Here are the details. 

Numerical Answer Type (NAT): These carry no negative marking nor do they have any choices.

Multiple Select Question (MSQ): One mark will be deducted under the UCEED negative marking rule.

Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ): These questions have a negative marking of 0.71.
