All the admission to mbbs and bds seats in medical colleges across the india will be done by the neet ug exam. However colleges like aiims and jipmer will take their own exam for admission to their mbbs seats.

Dear Varsha, earlier it used to happen that the private medical colleges in south India used to conduct their separate entrance exams and selected students based on that. But now since neet took over its the common exam to get admitted into any college around the country. So just prepare for neet and give it your best.

NEET is now the only medical entrance conducted across whole country to get admission in any of the medical field. Only AIIMS and JIPMER have their separate exams.

NEET is the only exam based on which admissions will be carried out.
