The answer to your question whether 11th marks are important for IIT is NO, they are not, only your 12th Board marks are important as a basic qualification mark (75 percentage) to qualify for JEE Advanced after qualifying in JEE Mains.

No, 11th marks doesn't Important for the Iit. But you need 75% marks in 12th science (65% for sc/st caste) and need to be qualifying jee advanced to get admission in IITs.
