There is a 10% reservation quota for the Economically Weaker Sections for General Category candidates in government jobs and educational institutions and has its benefits, If you are eligible, and whose family has a gross annual income is below Rs 8 lakh. The different states in India can set their own income cut off to decide who constitutes the EWS limit. If who fall under the Economically Weaker Section, you will get just the 10% reservation quota and no other benefit with regard to merit.
