Maharaja's College provides Bachelor of Arts (BA) programme in 12 different subjects namely, political science, history, economics, economics (hons) etc. The college accepts direct admission for UG courses. Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying exams i.e. percentage of marks received in Higher Secondary or any equivalent exam. Application process for the UG courses usually starts in the month of May.Candidates who has passed the Higher Secondary from WBCHSE or its equivalent Examination from any recognised board not before 2016 are eligible to apply for the UG course for this year's batch. The college's website doesn't mention any provision for managament quota seats so it's difficult to say if it accepts any admissions through management quota.
