Hi aspirant

You can try for newer NITs and GFTIs and north indian NITs .If you are looking for any decent NITs you might have to wait for first few rounds.

The college you'll get depends on your home state, category and rank.

So first of all fill choices of your home state NITs and then after any other.

You can opt for NIT Silchar,NIT Jamshedpur(if home state),NIT Meghalaya,NIT Manipur,NIT Arunachal pradesh.

Check the cut off of each NITs here:https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff

All the best.
