Candidates must be 17 years old as of December 31, 2024, and pass the 10+2 or equivalent exam with English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and Biology from a recognised board. Applicants who have passed the Class 12 or equivalent exam are also eligible to apply for NEET. Thus, you will be qualified to administer NEET 2024 if you fit into this group. The NEET 2024 eligibility requirements are specified for all medical applicants by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Along with an informational pamphlet in PDF format, the most recent and revised NEET eligibility requirements for the 2023 session will be made available at neet.nta.nic.in.

Maximum Number of Attempts: The maximum number of NEET attempts is unrestricted. Additionally, candidates must be citizens of India.

Sorry but you won't be eligible to write neet in 2024 . As you are born in 2008 , in 2024 you will be 16 years old which is not under the eligibility criteria of neet.

You can appear next year ie 2025 as you will complete 17 years .

As per eligibility criteria of neet

The candate must be an Indian.

The candidate must have completed minimum 17 years Age.

The student must have passed class xii with physics, chemistry anc biology with minimum 50 % marks along with English as compulsary subject.
