Under calcutta university there are numerous colleges both private and government providing admission in bachelors subject. Generally they do not object on 1 year gap students nor do they deduct any marks, but each college has their own rules and regulations. So the best thing I would suggest you is to check the prospectus of the college first and if you do not get any information then kindly contact the college regarding this matter.
