Yes state medical colleges do provide defence quota to the candidates taking admission in MBBS program. If your mother or father are in any of the tri-services ( Army, Navy or Airforce) or they are ex-servicemen with service period of at least 10 years then you are eligible for it given that both you and your parents holds the domicile of that state. 1% quota  is there in UP colleges for wards of defense personnel.
