Hey Monika,

Most of the students scoring excellent marks in their academics have the privilege to get adnmission in good colleges on merit basis. But, some students who did not obtained great marks due to any circumstance get any average college. So, many colleges give those students an opportunity to study at the management quota and not specifically on merit basis.

Those students have to provide some extra amount as donation to the college/ University so that they can take admission.

That's why there is difference in the fee structure of admission on merit basis and on management quota. And admission under management quota requires a higher fee.

Thanks!
