Is there any difference in syllabus of btech 1st sem

Hi Rekha.

Greetings.

The syllabus for almost all the colleges are same or similar for the 1st semester in the same branch on engineering, be it an IIT or other private college. They teach the same subjects and have almost same chapters in them. They might differ in the division on chapters according to the semesters.

Generally syllabus is similar across 1st sem in all colleges however som e universities and college have slight modifications and tweak the syllabus as per their criterias.

Top common subjects inckude Physics, chemistry, Mathematics, C++, Mechanics, BEE.

IIIT and NITshave slightly different syllabus.
