As such there is no advantage of doing diploma in hotel management after 10th. I would suggest you to complete you 11th and 12th in any field will work.but prefer doing it from commerce field as later on accounting part definitely comes in hotel management. and even you get a proper exposures of how Everything works. Then after completing 12th go for jee exam of hotel management score good rank in it. As per rank you get a good government clg if you don't come into rank then you need to go for private clg. And get yourself graduated and we'll experienced in this field. Thankyou.

Then I suggest you don't go for diploma now
First you should focus on studies and clear the class 12 exams with good marks then you go for further graduation studies ,if you have interest in hotel industry then you can go for degree courses of ihm

At last I want to say if you have financial problem then you can give tution and do something else any part time job etc
But you have a opportunity to study then don't waste your life proper study class 12 and then go for professional degree as you will get respect and earning too!!
There is nothing like disadvantage and advantage it's depend on you how you make it your opportunity but as a guider I will suggest you don't go for diploma if your aim is earning and Don't want to study further but you want to learn then you can do computer courses which will definitely help you further as you can see the modern India with lot of technologies !!
