No there is not any eligibility criteria like that only just you need to score atleast 75% in Class 12th inorder for the safe landing in these elite institutes like NIT / IIT. As well you should have atleast 70+ marks in PCM and although if you have a weightage of 75% in PCM you are also eligible to write the BITSAT examination.

Dear Aspirant,

For appearing jee main one need to either appearing or has passed 10+2 with atleast 75 percent for unreserved category candidate.For SC,ST category candidate atleast 65 percent in in needed.

Minimum 75% aggregate marks in Class12th for general category.

Candidates can be either in top20 percentile as well of their respective boards.

Dear student,
I would like to tell you that YES there is a criteria.
You need to get at least 75% if you are a general studnet and 65% if ST/SC/OBC.
so do get the minimum marks so as to be eligible.
