Yes. There is a universal negative marking in neet ug as well as aiims mbbs entrance exam.
On marking wrong option, 1 mark will be deducted in neet ug while in aiims mbbs entrance exam 0.33 marks is deducted.. however if you don't mark the option you will neither be awarded marks nor will be deducted..

Good luck.prepare well for your exam..

Hi,

No ...

Apart from mentioning you as a second attempt, there is no difference between you and first attempt candidates in marks or anything...

So there will be no extra negative or positive marks...

Hi Hitesh!
No, there is  no difference in negative marking in the NEET and also in AIIMS MBBS Entrance Exam of Repeater and Fresher giving the exam.
The marking scheme of NEET is as follows:
In NEET Exam, there are a total of 180 questions comprises of 45 questions each of Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology.
The exam is total of 720 marks, i.e., each right answer gives you 4 marks and each wrong answer takes your 1 mark that means 1/4 negative marking scheme present in NEET EXAM..
And the Marking Scheme of AIIMS MBBS Entrance Exam is as follows:
In AIIMS MBBS Entrance Exam, there are a total of 200 questions comprises of 60 questions each of Physics, Chemistry and Biology and 20 questions of General Awareness and Logical Reasoning..
The Exam is total of 200 marks, i.e., each right answer gives you 1 mark, but each wrong answer takes your 0.33 mark that means 1/3 negative marking scheme present in AIIMS MBBS Entrance Exam
One more thing I like to mention here, NEET EXAM is Pen-Paper based Offline Exam of 3 hours and having 180 questions, but AIIMS MBBS ENTRANCE EXAM is Computer Based Test (CBT) Online Exam of 3 and an half hour and having 200 questions
Hopefully you will get your answer
Hie Hitesh,

There is no such criteria or rule for those who are answering again. There isn't any additional negative marking other than the usual marking scheme.

As per the CBSE NEET information bulletin:-

  • Each item carries 4 marks. For each correct response the candidate will get 4 marks.
  • For each incorrect response one mark will be deducted from the total score.
  • No deduction from the total score will, however, be made if no response is indicated for an item in the answer sheet.
  • The candidates are advised not to attempt such item in answer sheet, if they are not sure of the correct response.
  • More than one answer indicated in a question will be deemed as incorrect response and will be negatively marked.

I hope you find this helpful. All the very best!
