Well, expeting that huge amount of money from a government job on monthly basis would be too much!
Well,if you are B.Tech degree holder and you have managed to get a government job,then it is achievment in itself.
See,most of the government firms that will hire you,would not be giving you more than 40,000 INR per month initially .As the time would pass by,the salary will increase but it will take time to bcome two lakhs. However,if you manage to make it to multinational companies like Google,Apple,Amazon etcetera then,there are chances that you earn two lakhs per month.

It quite difficult to earn 2-3 lakh per month by government jobs from india through btech.
Since most of the company pay around 13,14 lakh per year.and 2,3 lakh per month is quite large amount.
But I will not say that earning this high amount is impossible after doing btech.
You can work in Multinational company abroad to earn high package .
If you work as engineer manager in banglore you can earn upto 3-4 lakh per month.
In these company you have to work for 5 day per week and for 8-9 hour everyday.and if you work more on certain day and less in other day it does not have any affect on your work.
So you can get a job in mnc to earn 2,3. Lakh per month
