Sri Rama and Bhaktha Gentela Narayana Rao Government Degree College in short SR&BGNR Degree College is the major degree college in  Khammam, Telangana  offering Degree and Post graduate courses. It is affiliated to Kakatiya University. Established in 1956, it acted as a major graduation place for the entire district of Khammam. No they are not provides hostel facilities but this college sprawls in about 37.37 acres with a huge U-shaped building in the middle. The building is encircled by beautiful garden and appealing landscape, It consists of 24 class-rooms, 16 laboratories, a vast Library, Physical Education room, 02 computer Labs with 54 computers, a sophisticated JKC Lab with 52 systems with 24 hour internet facility and headphones, a cooperative stores, a gymnasium , a seminar hall with LCD and OHP facilities, and an audio equipment. A spacious auditorium is under construction. A Girls hostel is about to complete with a little amount of minor civil works is left out. The college has geared for state-of-the-art technology with office and the library fully automated, with departments connected with the intercom and internet facilities and broadband networking accessibility for both faculty and students. In addition, e-classroom is established as an added advantage to the students to impart qualitative learning.
