Yes, there are some jobs that recruit candidates directly on the basis of 10th or 12th qualification, but selection is usually not based only on marks. Most government and private sector jobs require you to meet the minimum educational qualification and then clear a written test, physical test, skill test, or interview.

After 10th, you can apply for posts like Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS), Railway Group D, Police Constable (in some states), Army GD, and various state-level government vacancies.

After 12th, opportunities include SSC CHSL, Railway Clerk/NTPC (12th level posts), Postal Assistant, Data Entry Operator, Police Constable, and Defence services.

In the private sector, some companies may shortlist candidates based on 12th marks for entry-level jobs like sales executive, BPO, office assistant, etc.

However, purely merit-based direct recruitment only on 10th or 12th marks (without any exam or further selection process) is very rare in government jobs.
