Dear Chandana, your daughter will be eligible for State Quota if she fulfils the nativity criteria. Your daughter should be native of Tamilnadu. If she studies in Tamilnadu from 6th to 12th, she doesn't need a Nativity certificate. But if she chooses to study her 11th and 12th in Bangalore, she might need a Nativity certificate and permabent residential certificate cannot be considered as a nativity certificate. But because your daughter has chosen to study 2 years in Karnataka, even if either of the parents are born in Tamilnadu and can produce the original copy of date of birth certificate and relation with the candidate, even that allows her to claim 85% State Quota.
