I dont think private companies consider Gate score for recruitment but if you are interested to join any private company then this score will surely be an add on for you. So I would suggest you to check the recruitment process of particular company where you want to get appointed.

And I hope you have applied for PSUs as well, specially BSNL.

May other companies be involved in recruiting through GATE
