No there will be no problems but if you already paid your fee then you will get half amount or some amount of money refund according to prospectus details. And if you don't show up in college for a long time then your name is automatically removed from the name list.

You should ask for a proper refund and the same procedure you need to follow while taking admissions to another institute.
