It depends on the college.

For example,

Through jee main, admission in NIT ,IIITs , GFTIs etc is provided

• In  NITs there is home state quota
• In IIITs there is no home state quota
• In GFTIs, there is no home state quota , but yes there are a few exceptions , for example in Assam University there is home state quota
