Indeed, in order for an institution to lawfully operate and carry out the B.Ed. program in India, it needs an NCTE recognition letter from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).  This formal approval letter certifies that the B.Ed. program satisfies the necessary requirements for teacher education and is verifiable by potential employers.
