You need not worry about your financial constraints once you've cleared BITSAT(which implies that you're good in your acads). You can get one or more of the following scholarships by maintaining a decent CGPA. On an average, these awards benefit around 25% of the students.
1. You can get the Merit Scholarship if you have a really high CGPA. The merit awards cover reimbursement of full semester fees and admission fees for top 10 students of each batch.
2. You can get the Merit-cum-Need Scholarship. You will get 80% / 50% /25 % of the semester fee depending upon your SGPA(Semester GPA). One has to apply for the MCN Scholarship every semester and the gross annual income of your parent(s) should be less than 5.5 lakhs to be eligible for the MCN.
3. If you have aM.Scdegree and a JEE advanced/ mains rank of less than 10k, you can apply for the INSPIRE Scholarship.
4. Student Aid Fund offered by the Institute.
5. The Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is an on-going National Program of Fellowships in Basic Sciences, initiated and funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. Generous scholarships are provided up to the pre-Ph.D. level to the selected KVPY fellows.
6. You can take a study loan from SBI(as it has the lowest interest rates) and then pay when you start earning.
