Aligarh Muslim University is a government University thus it has many scholarship opportunities scholarship are distributed subject wise. highest the scorer in exams will get the highest opportunity for the scholarships.There are various scholarships provided by various alumni associations  also which are on the basis of some criteria and by the Vice Chancellor as well. Students are mainly dependent on the scholarships awarded by state government or the central government.
