Scope of bsc nursing:
There is a wide range of opportunities after finishing BSc Nursing, the students can opt for a job or go for higher studies. Those who want to take up jobs can join as Nursing Advisors to the Indian Government, Nursing Assistants/Supervisors, Teachers and Nursing Superintendents. Those who want to pursue further studies can join for MSc Neuroscience, MSc Biotechnology, MSc Nursing, MSc Medical Microbiology and MSc Biochemistry. They can also join a post graduate program in Public Health management besides MSc in renal sciences and dialysis technology.
Students who have passed B Sc in Nursing get a salary of Rs15,000 per month in government hospitals and the pay package will increase with experience. In teaching field BSc (Nursing) will get a salary of Rs 12,000 a month. MSc holder can get a Salary of Rs 25,000 to 40,000 per month. After finishing the course the students can apply for jobs in different government and private hospitals all over India.
