Dentists work in both private and government sectors. For getting a job in the gov sector you might have to give an entrance exam. You can also start your own clinic if you'd like. As a fresh graduate, you might get a salary between 15k to 30k per month depending on the hospital you have applied for. If you pursued MDS you might get a chance to earn 5-6 lakhs per annum.
