Yes, NITs, IIEST Shibpur and some of IIITs, individual undergraduate courses have separate reservation for female candidates.  At least 20% seats for females candidates will be reserved in each category in the above mentioned institutes. Female candidates are also eligible for gender-neutral pool. But a seat is allotted to a female candidate under gender-neutral pool if she fails to get seat in gender-female pool. All SC female candidates are eligible for SC-Female pool and SC-Gender- Neutral Pool.
