Is there different Opening and Closing Ranks for categories in terms of admission in IIT's?

Hello nilanjit.
Yes,there is different closing and opening ranks for different categories when it comes to admission to IITs.There are different reserved seat quotas for different categories.In Case of IITs,there is no state quota unlike in case of NITs.Hope this helps.
