Ragging is a crime now. Its not legal to do to any child. Even you cant do ragging once you be a senior. So, no ragging is completely prohibited. Still, no institute can guarantee it because what is done by someone (student) in person , is not been noticed by law until you put a report against it. So, legally its banned but in person you need to raise your voice if something happens.
