Hii aspirants

let me clear your doubt.

Yes there is negative marking in gate exam.

For one mark multiple choice questions, one-third mark will be deducted for a wrong answer.and  for multiple choice questions of two marks, two-third mark will be deducted for a wrong answer. And there is no negative marking for numerical answer type questions.

I hope my answer will help you out.

Good luck

Hello Abram

Yes, negative marking is there. There is no provision of negative marking in NAT questions. MCQs carrying 1 marks each, 1/3 marks would be deducted as a penalty of marking the wrong answer. For questions carrying 2 marks, 2/3 marks would be deducted for marking an incorrect answer
