There is no negative marking in hpu entrance test for btech.

The entrance test is divided into 2 parts. Both parts are of 100 marks and time alloted is 2 hrs.In first exam there are 50-50 questions of Physics and Mathematics.In 2nd paper there are 40 questions of Aptitude of logical reasoning, 40 questions are of IT related GK and 20 questions are of English.The questions are multiple choices. Total duration of exam is 4 hrs.
