Hello ma'am,

This year, the criteria of JIPMER has been changed.

For every correct answer, 4 marks are awarded and for every wrong answer -1 mark is deducted.

The Exam Pattern of JIPMER is as follows-

  1. The Exam is conducted online. This means it is a Computer Based Test.
  2. A total of 200 Questions will be asked in the examination.
  3. The Total Time Duration of the Examination is 2 Hours and 30 Minutes.
  4. The Exam Paper is divided into five sections- Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Zoology/Botany), Logical and Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension.
  5. 60 Questions are asked from Physics/Chemistry/Biology and 10 Questions are asked from Logical and Aptitude and English Comprehension.
  6. For every correct answer 4 marks are awarded and for every wrong answer, 1 mark is deducted.

Cheers!

Hi Divyashree, I hope you are preparing for jipmer. Yes there is a negative mark for every wrong response. For each wrong response 1 mark is deduced from the total mark.
