Well VIT is a good university. Also it is what you make of the exposure given to you there. Exposure is alot, you will find people doing many different things there. It's you who decides what you have to do. If you do make a good CV then great placements are ought to happen so considering all the potential the university has it would be worth paying only if you know how to use the potential to your good.
