1. There are no security and fire safety measures (Students keep on dying/injured due to racist attacks, fire (recently two girls from Maharashtra were burnt alive in Smolensk Medical Academy's hostel and the University simply stopped taking calls from the Indian parents and Indian Embassy never pursued this case of negligence with them. One of the father of the girl had taken a loan by mortgaging the shop and she had got 92% in HSC), fights which locals create etc.) There are no fire extinguishers, water sprinklers, fire safety alarm, nor are any evacuation drills done.

Racist attacks on Indian students in Moscow, St. Petersburg and other cities are never reported in newspapers and University discourages students to complain to the Police; police anyway do not take FIR's etc.

All this can easily be changed if instead of blindly recognizing all Russian, Ukrainian, Belorussian, Chinese, Kyrgyzstani etc. Universities, India recognized only a select few like Singapore, Bahrain, Oman, etc. which are very small compared to India in land, status and economy.

2. Any Indian student who gets high marks in her 12th Std. should never choose Russia, China or other CIS countries where the quality of education is lower than India, the study methods are old and the equipment are very very old. I mean even in the biggest Medical Universities in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Kazan.

3. In Russia, China or other CIS countries no foreign student is ever is failed by the University because they need dollars from foreigners. Even if student does not attend the University, they will pass the student, that's right. Even if student keeps on failing they will pass the student. They are simply interested in the fees. Student will only be thrown out of the University if he/she fails to pay the yearly fees.

4. Some Russian Universities are also expert in giving white lies such as that there is English medium medicine when the actual English medium is only for 2 years only. Currently, there is a Russian University is deep underdeveloped part of Russia North-Caucasian State Humanitarian Technological Academy which has is telling students that it has English medium (not clearing that for only 2 years) and that they do not have license from Russian Education Ministry to teach in English. Professors here do not even understand the difference between and arm and a hand!

The several Universities which have all 6 years Medicine conduct practicals/hospital visits which are joke for English medium.

Furthermore, English medium students hear OT procedures through an incompetent translator looking through a glass barrier and hearing the pathetic loudspeaker.

Students never inform about the above conditions to their parents because of financial commitment, shame and not to scare their parents which is a barrier in bringing out the truth.

5. Now imagine, MBBS/MD doctors from Russia, China and CIS countries. Would you trust them with your life? The life of your spouse or children? Indian govt. i.e the MCi is planning to recognize Russian education degrees in India now. I do not think it is a good idea. The passing rate for Indian MBBS students from Russia is I think about 18% maybe lower, for China 13% and so on for the other former Soviet countries. Do you think we should still scrap the MCI screening tests just because white Russians are manipulating us with their friendliness and other means?

6. All the money of hard working Indian middle class goes to these don't care attitude of Russian govt. Universities and the students learn nothing but come back with bad habits.

7. Plus, there are many MBBS pass outs from Russia and former Soviet countries (CIS countries) in Delhi and in other parts of India who get their degrees after 6/7years in the above mentioned countries with hardly any studies, fail to pass the MCI screening test setting up dispensaries for years. They boast about them in blogs and forums.

There is also an important issue of Doctors with one degree practicing in another field in many govt. hospitals across India.
