In 2019, it was proposed that NEET UG will be held in two phases and in online mode. But following lack of resources, this proposal was scraped off and the exam was conducted by NTA in the usual manner ie. in offline mode, in the first week of May and only once. However, it was told that the double shift and online pattern of exam may begin from 2020. But, no official notification has been released by the NTA confirming it. So as long as no official notification is being released by the NTA stating otherwise, NEET UG is supposed to be conducted unt he usual manner ie. in offline mode, in the first week of May and only once.

NEET is an National Level Entrance exam conducted for admission to various Ayurvedic,Medical,BDS,Pharmacy courses.The exam is conducted once a year in offline mode. Candidates are provided with OMR sheets to fill in their responses.There are certain eligibility criterias which the candidates are required to meet.
