Yes, VIT Vellore is a very good college. It's proven, it is an institute of eminence and only ten universities in the country have been given the institute of eminence status. It has been having very good placement numbers for quite some time and it's got the legacy because it started about 20- 25 years back. So, if you get VIT Vellore and a chosen branch which you opt for then it's a good college.

Vellore Institute of Technology provides Bert infrastructure and medical facilities. Labs are well equipped, wifi and hostel facilities are considerable. Faculties are very supportive. Moving to the placements, college provides good placement opportunities for computer science department, though other departments also has good placement records but highest package is often offered to CS department by Microsoft. Many companies like Microsoft, TCS, Dell, Amazon , L&T, bajaj etc. visit the campus.
