You can do engineering in different college levels:-

1. IIT:- JEE mains + JEE advance
2. NIT campus:- for general category:- rank below 2lakh. for top NIT campus, general category rank is below 20k-30k.
3. For IIIT:- rank below 5k-7k
4. for Government engineering college and university:- Rank below 5lakh-7 lakh
5. for private college:- rank will vary college to college and state to state. mostly upto 40 lakh rank is accepted in different colleges
