  Assuming that you are aiming to write a script for Bollywood movies and you have a registration with FWA (Film Writers Association) or any other body, a good script at the least can bring you any where between and 1 to 1.5 lakhs initially . The payment is usually done on a per script basis.

The payments also depends on the the production house you are associated with and the budget that is there for the film.

For televion script writing, one is paid on a salary basis per month as long as the show runs. Again, your salary also depends on the production house, you are associated with.
