Yes, ITER is a private engineering college, earlier it belonged under  deemed university of SOA university, but now it not deemend university, Institute of Technical Education and Research is engineering college in Bhubaneswar, to get admission in engineering JEE main marks are accepted here, the ownership of university is private.
