ITI exams generally fall into two categories: the Entrance Exam (to get admission) and the Main Trade Exams (conducted during the course).
1. Entrance Exam (For Admission)

  • Subjects:

    • Mathematics: Basic 10th-level math (Algebra, Profit/Loss, Geometry).

    • General Science: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology basics.

    • General Knowledge: Current affairs, history, and geography.

  • Marking: 2 marks per correct answer; no negative marking.

2. Main Trade Exam (CBT Pattern)

  • Trade Theory: Core subject questions.

  • Employability Skills: English, IT, and communication basics.

  • Workshop Science & Calculation: Basic technical math.

  • Engineering Drawing: Symbolic and geometric representation.

  • Passing Criteria: Minimum 33% in CBT subjects and 60% in Practical.
