Hey Mrinal, the branch in which you possess interest is the best. Coming to ECE, it deals with the semiconductor electronics concepts with VLSI, antenna, communication, Digital and analog electronics as core subjects. There is a high demand of ece engineers currently. All you need to focus on is your programming skills as well,then you can easily sit in placements along with cse and IT students. Embedded systems is also in high demand. Currently top industries like Qualcomm, Philips etc hire electronics engineers. You also have scope in PSUs as well.

Coming to placement in JEC- Average package is around 3-5LPA and the highest package was of 25LPA last year. It's better to not completely rely on college placements. Apply through GATE and IES and get a chance to work with PSUs.

The ECE branch in Jabalpur Engineering College is a decent course in terms of placements. I will brief you about the college and the course.

Placements: Over 60% of the students from ECE branch gets placed every year. There is option available for opting either on-campus placements or off-campus placements. The off-campus placements are better and offer highest salary package upto 25 LPA. The on-campus jobs offer highest salary package upto 5-6 LPA only. Companies like Tata, Wipro, Samsung etc recruit students from this college.

Infrastructure: The campus has all the good facilities for students. There is a WiFi connection, smart classrooms, and a library. The labs are average in terms of modern equipment.

Faculty: The teachers from this college  are highly qualified with a degree and have very well teaching experienced. the course curriculum is also relevant.

Overall, this is a good college for EC branch.
