I've got 380/750 and 228/500 for ba llb (ews) cuet ug . Is there any chance for me to get the main campus or should I move to private college?

With a score of 380/750 in BA LLB CUET UG and 228/500 in the EWS category, getting admission in the main campus may be challenging, as the cutoffs for main campuses are usually higher and very competitive. You might have a better chance in constituent or affiliated campuses of the university or through private colleges, which often have lower cutoffs and reserved EWS seats. It’s a good idea to check the previous year’s CUET cutoffs for your category and course to make an informed decision.

Hello Laxmi

With 370/750 and 228/500 in CUET and being an EWS student, your chances of getting a seat in the main campus is borderline.

While you won't be able to get the top colleges like DU, BHU in the main campus, but you could still try to go for newer or affiliated colleges to the main campus.

Thank You!!!

First of all, congratulations on completing CUET UG with these scores. For BA LLB under CUET, admission depends on the university cutoffs, and EWS category does provide some relaxation. With 380/750 (roughly 50%) and 228/500 in subject-specific section, your chances of getting into top central universities’ main campuses like DU Faculty of Law, BHU, or Allahabad University are somewhat limited because their cutoffs for law courses are generally higher.

However, you still have chances in some central universities and state universities where the cutoff is moderate. If your dream is specifically to study at a main campus like DU, you may need to wait for multiple rounds and sliding lists.

My advice: Apply in all possible central and state universities through CUET counselling, but keep at least one private law college admission as a safety option so you don’t lose a year.

Thank you, and I truly wish you get admission in a campus of your choice.
