JEE Mains is the most common entrance examination for admission to Engineering courses across India. There are other entrance examinations like WBJEE as well but JEE Mains is conducted at National Level. Now for appearing for JEE Mains there is no aggregate requirement. But admission to Top Institutions like IITs, NITs and GFTIs happens through JEE Advanced. Now JEE Advanced is the next step after JEE Mains and for eligiblity to appear for JEE Advanced, you should have secured a minimum aggregate of 75% in your 10+2. So, keep a target of 75% to score in 12th. You do not want to miss the opportunity to study in IIT/NIT/GFTIs. You have improved a lot form 55% to 62.5%. So just try to secure 75%.
